New object type: Bodenkundlicher Aufschluss KA6.
‍GeoDin 15.6 introduces the KA6 object type, supporting the 6th edition of the German Soil Survey Guidelines (Bodenkundliche Kartieranleitung), mandatory in Germany since July 2024. It covers diagnostic horizons, revised horizon symbols, the extended substrate system, and new soil types.

Improvements

Updated wording on the license activation screen
The text on the license activation screen has been revised to reduce confusion when entering Pro license keys.

Data entry form background colors aligned with current skin
The background color of master data entry forms now adapts to the active UI skin, ensuring visual consistency across the application.

Measurement point display names updated during object type update
When updating an object type, GeoDin now also applies changes to measurement point display names. Previously, a full reinstallation was required to reflect naming changes. (Reported by Arcadis.)

Fixed layout rendering issues on 4K screens with German UI
Resolved several remaining display issues that occurred when using GeoDin with the German language setting on 4K monitors.
‍
Fixed crash during Excel export of complex data types
Exporting measurement data tables with complex data types (e.g. PSD) that contained no rows previously caused an unexpected error. This has been resolved. (Reported internally by Fugro.)
‍
Fixed curve break behavior for unmeasured areas in data sequence graphics
The "Break presentation for unmeasured areas" option now correctly interrupts the curve when depth entries have no associated measured value. Previously, only depth intervals with no records at all triggered a break. The precision for defining break ranges has also been increased to support values up to 0.001.

Minor German text and symbol corrections
Corrected small text issues in the German UI, including a missing registered trademark symbol (®) in the unsupported object type message.

ERSTE BETA-VERSION DER BENUTZEROBERFLÄCHE: Modernisierte Titelleiste mit integrierter Navigation oben (Beta-Design)
‍In GeoDin Beta wurde eine neue, individuell anpassbare Titelleiste eingeführt, die die obere Navigation, die Layout-Steuerelemente, „Hilfe“, „Info“ und die Umschaltfunktion zwischen Beta- und Classic-Modus in einer einzigen, übersichtlichen Kopfzeile vereint. Der Benutzer kann nun zwischen dem Beta- und dem Classic-Design wechseln. Das Classic-Design bleibt unverändert.

Darstellung der türkischen Benutzeroberfläche korrigiert
Resolved an issue where selecting Turkish as the interface language displayed numeric placeholders instead of translated text.

Excel-Export für komplexe Datentypen korrigiert
Beim Exportieren von Datentypen mit Unterdatentypen (z. B. SPT) werden nun gültige Excel-Dateien erstellt, die sich korrekt öffnen lassen. Einfache Datentypen waren davon nicht betroffen.

During object‑type updates, formulas for system data types are refreshed to match the source configuration and order (non‑system behavior handled separately).

Sample import — “Division by 0” resolved
Fixed an error that could occur when importing sample data after switching between US customary and SI units.

New capability to create plugins using .NET10 (GeoDin® Version 15.4.XX.XX onwards)
‍As part of the upcoming AGS release, we have added the capability for plugins to also run in .NET10. Both the installer and the desktop client has the option to install this required dependency to make sure users can run it. Additionally, plugins can now be restricted based on the object type.

Import and Export of AGS 4.0.4 and 4.1.1
With the updated importer and exporter plugins, it is now possible to:
- Import AGS‑compliant files (4.0.4 and 4.1.1) directly into the AGS object type.
- Export data back to AGS 4.0.4 or 4.1.1 in full accordance with the standards:

Import Data Sequences in Imperial Units: You can now specify the unit used to record depth values. Additionally, import files can be mapped to predefined data sequences with their respective units, enabling automatic unit conversion

Data Sequence Editor: The rename function in the General Data section is now available for all data sequences, including both user-defined and pre-configured ones
System Databases: System databases can now be renamed directly within GeoDin, eliminating the need to manually edit the CON file
Object Type Export: Layouts are now included when exporting object types via the System tab, ensuring more complete and consistent data transfer
AGS Export (Object Type: G1 Location): CPT AGS groups (SCPT and SCPG) are now deactivated by default, giving users greater control over export content
