Take GeoDin Ground further

Bring your own ground data into Civil 3D with a GeoDin Ground app subscription. Import AGS files from any site investigation contractor, clean up the layers with the Layer Interpreter, and build your 3D subsurface model without needing a GeoDin database. Your field data stays your own: the Layer Interpreter saves its work as a separate dataset and never changes the original records.

• Import AGS files directly into Civil 3D.
• Merge similar layers and assign standard lithology codes (AGS, EN ISO, SEP3, G1) with the Layer Interpreter.
• Build 3D strata surfaces, volumes, and cross-sections from your imported data.
• Open borehole logs and lab reports attached to each borehole, and add virtual logs.
• Product updates, maintenance releases, and standard support for the length of your subscription.

No new app needed. The subscription activates these functions in the GeoDin Ground app you already have from the Autodesk App Store.

System requirements

• Autodesk Civil 3D 2026 & 2027 on 64-bit Windows 
• An active Autodesk account and the applicable Autodesk software prerequisites
• The GeoDin Ground app, downloaded from the Autodesk App Store

Choose your subscription

Standalone subscription

• For Civil 3D users and design teams who don’t work with GeoDin.
• Import AGS files and build your subsurface model without a GeoDin database.

Ecosystem subscription

• For organizations that already use GeoDin; excluding Onsite and Ground.
• Keep working from your GeoDin database and add AGS import and the Layer Interpreter on top.
• We will verify your GeoDin customer details after purchase. If you are unsure, contact sales@geodin.com 

Both subscriptions include the same features.

License terms

• One license per named user. Each license is assigned to one person and can’t be shared.
• Licenses are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and renew annually to keep access to the subscription features.
• Licenses are non-transferable without approval from GeoDin.
• Buying for a team? You can buy several licenses in one order. For larger teams, contact sales.

The free features of GeoDin Ground, viewing and modeling data from a GeoDin database, stay available without a subscription.
