What does TabLogs do, and where does GeoDin differ?
TabLogs is cloud-based borehole logging software for digital boring log production. Field capture, ASTM D2487 and USCS classification, report generation, all through a browser and a mobile app, with the data held in their cloud.
That suits firms who self-perform their drilling and work to one national standard. GeoDin takes the other route: the boring log software runs on your desktop and the database runs on your own infrastructure. Running one database across a whole program, with several contractors feeding into it, is a different job, and every difference below follows from that.
