GeODin 7 represents the biggest advance in our software since the creation of Fugro’s data management platform. GeODin 7 is now more affordable and more flexible than ever before, allowing you to build a complete modular solution to meet your data management challenges.
The former GeODin Editions - Kompakt, Standard, Professional and Enterprise - have been replaced with a more flexible modular structure comprising Logs, Site, Labs, Maps, Client/Server und GIS Extensions. This enables users to add specific modular functionality to a basic GeODin 7 license that can be used with any GeODin 7 module or set of modules that cost just 895€ each. Our GeODin 7 Image Server and GeODin 7 Portal Server modules continue to offer state-of-the-art data management for the web.
Over 50 new features
Here are just some of the enhancements and refinements made to improve GeODin 7:
- Drag and drop: Drag an MS-Access database or a GeODin graphic into the GeODin 7 window and it is automatically available to work on
- Object types: New versions of object types can be updated via the internet directly from GeODin 7 or zipped and sent to colleagues
- Update Help: Use the online update to get the latest improvements and new content
- MS Office 2007: GeODin 7 is compatible with the latest Access and Excel formats (accdb & xlsx)
- New design: GeODin 7 further improves the user interface with new icons and methods
- Importing general data: Get your legacy data into GeODin quickly and easily
- Single and multiframes: Convert one object frame type into another (and vice-versa)
- SEP3 conversion: SEP1 and SEP3 are the old and new German National standards. GeODin eases the transition process
- Graphics: Edit polygons, put text in a box, set the dpi export or define custom AUTOCAD colours
- Rock cores: Display depth related photos as a borehole column
